Kent Eikenberry

President

Kent has been an owner since 1996 and became president in 2001.  He didn't grow up in the industry, nor does he turn a wrench in the shop, but he is occasionally seen washing a customer's car.  More importantly, he has surrounded himself with a competent, caring, and professional staff that pursues excellence in every detail.  Kent and his wife, Nadine, have two adult daughters and two grandchildren, and he expects every repair to meet quality and safety standards that he would demand for his own family. He strives to see that every customer is pleased with the Passwater's experience.  This philosophy has enabled Passwater's to earn the prestigious Angies List Super Service Award for each of the last 7 years, and be named Best of Indy by Indianapolis Monthly magazine.

 

Bill  Presslor

Operations Mgr.

Bill has been with the organization since 1999 and serves as the point man for both customers and insurance companies.  According to legend, as a toddler Bill believed his tricycle to be something not to ride, but to take apart and put back together, which he could do blindfolded while still in diapers.  Bill's knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures, combined with his personal commitment to the highest level of customer service give our customers true peace of mind.  Bill has earned the I-CAR Platinum individual certification, the highest level possible. 

 

John DeFosse

Parts Manager/Estimator

John joined the team in 1999 as a refinish technician and served competently in that capacity until 2007.  John loves cars and loves to paint them, although his leopard spotted Honda bore a striking resemblance to the giraffe at the local zoo.  When an old injury necessitated hip replacement for John in early 2007, it afforded the opportunity to utilize his knowledge and attention to detail in an administrative role as estimator and parts manager.  John has flourished in this role, strengthening the organization.  John holds  I-Car Gold Class standing and is pursuing the Platinum certification.

 

Terri Hine

Office Manager

The big smile at the front desk belongs to Terri, who has been with the team since 1998 and brings a lady's perspective to collision repair.  The enrichment of her life over the past 11 years is readily apparent in her vocabulary, where high-tech automotive terms such as quarter panel and doghouse now flow smoothly from her lips.  Terri understands that the process can be somewhat overwhelming for our customers and she seizes every opportunity to assist and facilitate in ways such as accommodating scheduling needs, express drop-off, rental reservations, status updates, and details like reminding customers at drop off not to forget their cell phone charger or garage door opener.  Internally, Terri effectively oversees the accounting and IT functions, as well.

 

Ron Spencer

Production Mgr.

Ron joined the team in 1998, leaving behind multiple employers who never appreciated his big ideas.  He still has big ideas and not all of them are good, but some have been very good.  In fact, his thinking has been instrumental in the expansion of in-house capabilities and in the pursuit of perfection in our quality control procedures. Ron embraces new technology and has an insatiable appetite for learning. Under Ron's supervision, Passwater's has developed additional in-house capabilities, including A/C Service, Suspension and Problem Alignments, and Laser based measuring for precision frame and uni-body repairs. Ron has earned the I-CAR Platinum individual certification, the highest level possible.
